National Infertility Awareness Week, you can also take part online

From 28th October to 3rd November, various cities throughout Britain will be hosting events in the name of National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW), an initiative that receives a great deal of interest in UK.

It aims to increase awareness of how infertility affects people’s lives and explain the options available to those who have difficulty conceiving.

Throughout next week, various groups and associations will be organizing a wide range of activities for NIAW, most notably the baking of cakes and cupcakes. The aim of many of the meetings and activities is to promote frank, unprejudiced debate on the profound emotional impact infertility can have on people’s lives and how best to deal with it.

As of Monday, anyone interested in any of the topics addressed by NIAW can access a new online forum: National Infertility Awareness Forum (http://niawforum.org.uk/).

Users can have their questions answered by an expert medical team specialized in gynecology and fertility. They can also share their personal experiences with other users.

The annual National Infertility Awareness Week is once again vigorously promoting thought and debate on fertility, especially amongst those for whom assisted reproduction is the only means of having children.
